The Canadian Chamber is sending a delegation to the 2024 B7 in Italy to take part in critical policy discussions regarding key global economic and business issues.

By joining the Canadian Chamber B7 delegation, delegates will have access to the full B7 Summit programming organized by Confindustria, and will meaningfully engage with G7-country policy peers, business leaders and government officials. The Canadian Chamber will also be hosting other related activities in Rome.

Two years ago, the G7 set the aim for AI to help “deliver economic growth that maximizes the benefits of digital technologies”. Now, some countries are at risk of falling behind — or missing out on this opportunity altogether — with some starting to move much faster on AI adoption than others.
On the eve of the B7 Summit, the Canadian Chamber will be hosting an event titled “AI: the missing piece of the productivity puzzle?”, which will take stock of global trends in Al adoption, emerging best practices and pathways that can best help G7 policymakers unlock a new AI-enabled productivity boom.

About the B7
The Business Federations of the Group of Seven – B7 is the most important and recognized of the G7 Engagement Groups.
