Notice of Objection and Request for Board of Review in relation to proposed plastics regulations

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce welcomes the opportunity to participate in Finance Canada’s ongoing consultation on border carbon adjustments (BCAs). As Canada’s largest business organization, representing companies of all sizes in all sectors and regions of the country, we believe that economic and environmental policies should advance in lockstep to transition toward a low carbon economy while increasing prosperity for Canadians.

As industry associations representing Canadian businesses that provide millions of jobs in almost every economic sector, we remain gravely concerned about the announcement of labour action at the Port of Montreal.
