Canadian Chamber Submission to the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement consultations

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce welcomes the opportunity to participate in Global Affairs Canada’s consultations on a possible accession to the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA). Given digital activities permeates every industry, it is critical for Canada to play an active role in international forums that will shape the rules affecting Canadian companies. The DEPA provides a useful forum for a coalition of the willing to move ahead with deeper collaboration than would otherwise be possible in other institutions.
