The Council

At a time when governments and businesses around the world are looking for stability and predictability in supply chains and trading partners, Canada should be a leader. However, the past few years have demonstrated that our supply chains are only as strong as their weakest link.

Members of the Canadian Chamber’s Supply Chains Council have taken a leadership role in ensuring Canada has resilient, reliable and efficient supply chains from coast to coast. The Council represents a collaborative national forum of organizations spanning various sectors, industries and populations. Working together to ensure the federal government — with full knowledge of the operational realities that allow Canadian businesses to get goods to and from market — can protect our supply chains.

The Council will undertake targeted advocacy and build relationships with senior government officials to foster trust, create dialogue, and offer advice and perspectives on strengthening Canada’s supply chains to ensure that products move, prices are stable and Canada’s reputation as a desirable trading partner is upheld.
