A report by the Canadian Chamber’s Business Data Lab reveals that Canada lags behind nearly half of all OECD countries in its share of women managers. It also highlights the persistent gaps in representation and compensation for women in management and leadership positions, as well as a significant disparity in business ownership compared to women’s population share. These findings underscore the urgent need to accelerate progress in increasing women’s representation in management, leadership and boardrooms, and to close compensation gaps.

The 2024 Women in Business Summit Series offers three 90-minute empowering sessions designed to bridge the implementation gap and make progress on accelerating gender equality. Together, with influential thought leaders, accomplished entrepreneurs and esteemed business and chamber leaders from across Canada, we will explore actionable solutions to bridge the representation and compensation gaps between men and women in management roles.

At this premier event series, held during Canada’s Gender Equality Week, you will gain valuable insights and practical tools to drive change. You will expand your professional network through engaging interactions with peers and will discover actionable strategies to overcome obstacles and reduce barriers to the advancement of women in the business world.
