Bruce Gailey

Bruce Gailey has over 25 years of arbitration experience as arbitrator, counsel (in private practice in Canada, U.K. and Switzerland), as a user (while spending 12 years in-house as head of litigation and arbitration for a global engineering company).

He has experience of ICC, LCIA, SIAC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, SCC (Stockholm), KCAB (Korea), BCICAC (Canada) and ad-hoc international arbitrations, as well as domestic arbitrations and litigation in various countries around the world. Prior to his role in-house, Bruce was a solicitor at a large London-based construction law firm and a litigator at a pre-eminent Canadian law firm.

Bruce is based in Switzerland with offices in major Canadian cities and is available to act as an independent arbitrator. He has considerable experience in construction, engineering, energy and infrastructure disputes, as well as intellectual property, information technology and insurance disputes.

Bruce’s native language is English and he is conversant (written and spoken) in French.
