Our Inclusive Growth Awards recognize chambers of commerce, boards of trade and their members across the country, that do exceptional work to remove barriers and create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive economy.
The Canadian Chamber’s Inclusive Growth Awards recognize chambers of commerce, boards of trade and their business and non-profit members across Canada that do exceptional work to remove barriers and create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive economy. In addition, these awards are to recognize Indigenous and other underrepresented entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence in innovation and social impact.

Chambers of commerce and boards of trade that can demonstrate they have implemented successful initiatives to advance economic reconciliation or increase diversity, equity, inclusion or accessibility in their organizational practices.
Members of chambers of commerce and boards of trade that can demonstrate they have implemented successful initiatives to advance economic reconciliation or increase diversity, equity, inclusion or accessibility in their business operations.
Indigenous and other underrepresented entrepreneurs in Canada that are members of chambers of commerce and boards of trade in Canada, that have owned their business for a minimum of one year; belong to an equity deserving group (Indigenous, women, racialized, 2SLGTBQ+, new Canadians, and entrepreneurs with disabilities); and have demonstrated excellence in innovation and social impact.
This year, we have created a not-for-profit category to recognize the incredible work led by local organizations to foster inclusive growth across the country.
Nominees can be nominated by a chamber of commerce or board of trade in Canada; by a member of a chamber of commerce or board of trade in Canada; or by self-nomination.
All nominees, whether nominated by a third party or self-nominated must complete and submit the Nominee Consent Form as part of their application.
Indigenous or other underrepresented entrepreneurs can self-identify by a separate form within the nomination form.
All nominations are reviewed for eligibility. Nominees are informed if their application has been accepted. The judging panel independently reviews the submissions and submits their scores to the Canadian Chamber for compilation. Award winners were invited to an awards presentation at our AGM & Convention 2024 on Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
