John Joseph McIntyre

JJ acts as an arbitrator and mediator in international and domestic commercial arbitration disputes. For more than 30 years, he has represented clients in civil litigation, before administrative tribunals and in arbitrations/mediations. Since 2002, he has focused on being a neutral and served as arbitrator on three person and single person panels in complex international and domestic commercial disputes primarily involving businesses in the transportation industry (contractual, construction and insurance issues). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London; a member of the Domestic Arbitrators Panel of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre; and is an Arbitrating Member of the Canadian Transportation Agency and the Vancouver Maritime Arbitrators Association.
