Advocacy / Policy Committees
Business at OECD
Business at OECD is the officially recognized voice of the private sector to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the world’s leading economic policy forum, representing 38 member countries and 80% of global trade and investment.
Through the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Canadian businesses can contribute to OECD policy development — from early design to implementation — ensuring Canadian business perspectives are reflected in global standards, which ultimately shape domestic policy.
The Committee’s work spans a wide range of issues impacting business, including trade, tax, digital policy, environment, finance, labour and responsible business conduct.

How It Works
Business at OECD brings together a global network of business organizations and more than 2,800 experts who engage directly with OECD committees and working groups.
Members participate in policy groups aligned to their priorities — from digital economy and investment to environment, tax and supply chains — helping shape recommendations before they are adopted by governments.
