(Ottawa) – January 28, 2020 – The Canadian Chamber of Commerce will ring the opening bell at Toronto Stock Exchange on January 29 to celebrate the launch of its Canada 360 Economic Summit on January 30.

“Sounding the siren to start the trading day at TSX is an apt metaphor for the inaugural Canada360 Economic Summit, which sets out a call to action for a more productive discussion of Canada’s economic potential and challenges. Canadians from all walks of life want, as much as Canada needs, serious, richly informed and innovative ideas to reverse Canada’s slow economic and competitive slide,” said Trevin Stratton, Chief Economist and Vice-President, Policy for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
