International Affairs & Trade

Canadian companies must shape our government’s international policies as well as influence standards and best practices before they are adopted domestically.

Our Position

As a small open-economy, international developments matter to Canadian businesses. This means Canadian companies need to be active speaking to our own government about international policies, such the negotiation of trade agreements and issues at the World Trade Organization.

Policy Committees & Working Groups

An important complement to our policy team, many significant policy public positions originate from our committees and working groups

Business at OECD

Business at OECD is the platform for Canadian businesses to shape policies being developed at the OECD before they are enacted domestically.

Canadian Services Coalition

The Canadian Services Coalition is Canada's only cross-service sector association voice on international issues affecting Canadian service companies.

International Affairs Committee

Our International Affairs Committee leads on policy development and advocacy related to international trade and investment issues, bilateral economic relations and responsible business conduct.
