Marco is an experienced mediator and arbitrator who is passionate about helping parties navigate and resolve their disputes with clarity, fairness, and efficiency. With training from Harvard Law in mediation as well as Oxford University and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in arbitration, Marco brings a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to conflict resolution.

Throughout his career, he has focused on creating space for parties to be heard and collaborate, while guiding them toward practical and lasting solutions—whether through mediation or arbitration. He has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer and arbitration counsel leading complex legal cases and trials in the British Columbia Supreme Court as well as institutional and ad hoc tribunals for business, shareholder, First Nations, family, estates and workplace disputes.

Prior to private practice, Marco worked as a Federal Prosecutor and Crown Counsel with the Department of Justice Canada working in the Business & Regulatory Law, Aboriginal Law, Criminal Law and National Security & Defence sections and as a Legal Advisor to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

Marco is routinely called upon to resolve a variety of disputes including workplace, business, corporate, contractual, First Nations, and resource extraction disputes.  In 2024 Marco led a number of successful mediations and arbitrations spanning various sectors including a substantial business valuation dispute, a contentious dispute between a local government and an indigenous group, a significant contractual dispute between an energy company and a long-term supplier, along with a number of smaller workplace, business, and corporate shareholder & investor matters.
