On April 29 members of Parliament defeated a replacement workers motion by a vote of 157 to 119…

The motion, forwarded by Bloc Quebecois MP, Meili Faille (Vaudreuil-Soulanges), was traded up in the Order of Precedence to take advantage of Liberal MPs being absent from the House and on their way to their party’s convention in Vancouver. Days before the vote, the Canadian Chamber once again mobilized our network on this issue. The power of the Chamber network prevailed.
