September 21-23, 2019 | Saint John Trade & Convention Centre | Saint John, NB
Our AGM & Convention brings together over 320 chamber of commerce executives and community business leaders to discuss the economic and political issues that affect the prosperity of Canadian business. This event enables our member chambers to become more relevant and successful advocates for their communities. It is also THE opportunity for chambers of commerce to present their member businesses’ key concerns to our cross-country network. The resolutions adopted pave the way to foster a stronger economic environment for business and will be presented to the federal government and shape our public policy objectives for the upcoming year.
2019 is a year to celebrate!
We are excited to be returning to Saint John to celebrate two important milestones: the anniversary of our very first AGM, which was held in Saint John in 1926, and the 200th anniversary of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, our gracious and enthusiastic host.
We look forward to welcoming you in #SaintAwesome!

This year's program features a Chambers Competition (more details to come), discussions about the federal election - party platforms, predictions and what those outcomes mean for Canadian business - and digital advocacy, our annual policy resolution debates and plenty of East Coast hospitality.

Share with your peers, this year’s competition is focused on advocacy through events. If you host an event that creates “influence in action” we want you to share the successes that you have had with creating profile for business advocacy. Maybe it’s a candidates forum that you’ve held in a new and exciting way? Maybe you’ve hosted a summit? Tell us what you are doing to create awareness of business issues in your community and/or region.
