Canada’s FoodLink members write to Agriculture Ministers ahead of meeting

We are writing to you on behalf of thousands of businesses of all sizes in the agriculture and agri-food sector ahead of the scheduled Agriculture Ministers’ meeting. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic placing stress on the food system, the Canadian agriculture and agri-food supply chain has remained resilient and will be a driver of Canada’s economic recovery.

Developing the framework for future space exploration activities

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce contributed five key principles to guide the Canadian Space Agency as part of the CSA's engagement on developing the framework for future space exploration activities. The private sector’s role in space exploration has evolved since the early space programs. Transitioning from roles primarily limited to being contract suppliers into mission leadership or ownership positions exemplifies this change. Ensuring the next generation of space law reflects this current reality – and is equipped to manage its likely acceleration – will be crucial to ensure Canada’s, and humanity’s, continued expansion into space is both orderly and fruitful.
